Applied via LinkedIn and was contacted by an internal recruiter.
Was interviewed by a generic talent acquisition person who had no clue what questions to ask or whether the answers I gave were good or bad.
Came to the interview wearing a sports hoody from Nike and explained the process.
Two weeks later, I’d not heard anything back from them, despite 25 years experience and done the role for multiple organisations similar or bigger to HPE.
Later that day I received a generic email to say they were moving forward with another candidate, but I don’t think they’d have bothered if I hadn’t have chased.
Apparently the hiring manager didn’t want to interview… but obviously, they are far too busy to say why, provide feedback or provide any kind of guidance… just a thanks, but no thanks…
