Honeywell has made it a practice to waste external candidates' time when they either know they are going with an internal candidate or don't actually intend to fill the role. I have been through their process several times and honestly feel I have dodged a bullet. I followed up with some internal contacts and in two cases they never filled the roles. Company is extermely ageist as well. Looking mainly for people under 30 to come in and then those individuals are eventually made redundant by the time they are 40. This way they can get rid of people before they become a protected class.
Process is unnecessarily long - several months. Screening, hiring manager, hiring manager's manager, functional leader, two HR interviews.
