I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at HotPads (San Francisco, CA) in Apr 2018
Interview
There is one phone screen and one take home coding challenge, followed by interviewing with the hiring manager. Very pleasant experience and the instruction of the coding challenge is very clear.
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at HotPads in Oct 2016
Interview
Interview process was fast. Applied online got contacted by recruiter. They sent me a take home question I cleared that round and then after that a phone interview with hiring manager. I thought I had a good interview but they rejected me. It would have been good if they could tell the reason behind rejection cause I felt that the rejection might have been because they already found their candidate.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Take home question was about sorting list of persons based on one of the given attributes (name or id or weight etc). Phone interviewer had 1 coding question(binary search in string array), one design question and lot of behavioral questions.
