I applied online. I interviewed at IBM (Washington, DC) in Feb 2017
Interview
Three days before the interview date, I received an official email with time sensitive actions. The interview times and interviewer names were emailed the day before. My interview took place mid February, consisting of 3 x 30 min interviews and 2x 15 min breaks between. I was told I would hear back within 2 weeks.
After 3+ weeks, I reached out to my recruiting partner for an update...twice. My recruiter finally responded (over a month after my interview), stating candidates were still under review.
A few more emails were exchanged between the end of March- April. On April 19th I received a generic email apologizing for the delay, stating I was still under consideration, but they could not provide a timeframe. My rejection email came on April 24th, over 9 weeks after my official interview date and 13 weeks from my phone call.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How did you hear about IBM and the Consulting by Degrees Program?
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at IBM (Hong Kong) in Nov 2015
Interview
3 rounds of interview
Once you have passed the online aptitude test,
First round - group interviews - just as many other companies
Second round - individual interviews - meeting with managers level and have a casual talk
Final round - Panel/partner interviews - group interviews with candidates applying different positions and a short interview with partners
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at IBM (New York, NY) in Feb 2017
Interview
It was a pretty standard interview with an introduction of what they do and what IBM does, then ask about whether I know about this position. Then there are resume based questions and relevant experience questions. No behaviorals, but there are 2 case problems. Simple though.
