I didn't reach the interview stage, but the problem is that my profile matched completely with the requirements of the role. And they also gave the link for the online assessment test, solved both the questions in 1/4 of the time that was given. But still didn't get the call

They gave us very basic questions, like in calculate the frequency of a number in the array and find the last occurrance of a particular element.

I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at IBM (Yorktown Heights, NY) in Nov 2020

Interview

It was not the most formal interview. My school and IBM had some collaboration, and the leader of that project interviewed me for an internship. I have been asked about my research outputs, how I think they relate to the position etc.

Not a specific question. It was more like asking me about my research and then asking follow-up questions about empirical stuff and how I plan to improve it.

Interview

HR schedule and two 1 hour interviews. Mostly talked about research projects and discussed future directions to see whether both the interviewer and interviewee are interested in working on that topic.
