Interview starts with phone screening.
It follows by some personality tests.
On-site interview heavily consists of data structures and algorithms questions on a whiteboard, as well as some brain teasers.
The interview process was pretty fast. Fill in the application and they got back in a message within a week. The first interview was just basic interviews questions about the application, about the company, about your perspectives.
Screening call from HR, then two rounds of interview. First one with CTO of the organization in the US - to determine whether it is a cultural fit. Second was with some engineer from Swedish branch - technical. Tech part was too easy and not really revealing anything beyond very basic stuff like what is HTTP, how would you keep secrets for an app, etc.
It felt like the org was just rushing hiring process to meet budget allocation goals. As it turned out, that leads to underqualified and underperforming teams. Which, in turn, leads to hiring lots of consultants (who aren’t brilliant - performance-wise - either)
