I applied through college or university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Infosys (Guna) in Sep 2016
Interview
this was a campus recruitment procedure for the post software engineer with salary 3.25pa. It was a 2 day procedure.
1st day- HR gave a brief introduction about infosys ,its policies, our role, its clients, interview procedure and so on after that a test was conducted
test -aptitude,logical, verbal
there was no negative marking but there was sectional as well as overall cutoff
around 300 people gave the test and 130-140 (70 CS people)were selected for the next round which was scheduled for next day
2nd day-There were 5-6 people taking interviews(technical + HR) all were taking 1 to 1 there were no rejection panel.
Manly they were evaluating the communication skills (don't even think about speaking in Hindi ), your introduction ,projects (very imp), basic c programming questions , core java basics , software engineering basics
interviews were of short duration 15-20 mins max . the interviewers were quite friendly and tried to help you with your answers even if you gave a wrong answer they will tell you the correct one.
Mostly if you gave your intro fluently and made him understand your project and communicate in English then you are selected.
For people from computer background - you are 90% selected in interviews already because they know that you have learned it for 4 years but be aware they can ask questions from anywhere and will understand your project
For people from other background - you will also be selected because they gave training at infosys. But they expect that you should have interest in computers and in the company. Another problem is that you don't have project surrounding computers therefore to get selected .this the key points for you guys
1. If possible have a project relevant to computer science . tell the interviewer about it
2. Learn to write and understand basic C programs.
3.Tell him that you have interest in Computer science and infosys. Ask relevant questions to him in interview so that he knows that you want to learn
after the interview around 80 people were selected at least 60 from CS and 20 from other

Question 1
About project , basic C programs,java (inheritance,abstaraction.....) , DBMS (constrains ,keys,etc....)Software engineering (Models)
L3 interview:
Pretty inefficient process, with certain people having to wait 6+ hours, and I heard of one person who waited an entire day and had to come again the next day.
Interview itself was relatively standard,
stage 1: Asking leetcode mediums and expecting optimal solution, then moving to core cs concepts like oops and sql.
stage 2: Diving into projects, with questions on the tougher side, like specifics about the architecture of docker.

The interview was related to general software engineering questions. Design patters, unit and e2e testing, deplyment to cloud, frontend to backend comunication, team collaboration, requirements shaping, release process. The interview was conducted in a friendly manner.
We have 3 rounds,
First is Online Assessment they ask 4 question among that 1 easy,2 medium and 1 Hard, i am able to solve 3 out of 4 and got Interview call for L3 role.
In Interview first round they ask about my project, give me 2 leetcode medium quesion one is LIS and one is LCS. after that they told me to draw DBMS Schema of University and give SQL Query to solve.
Second round is only for 20 minute, they ask about Project, LinkedList Question, Deadlock Code, Python code.
More over Interview was easy i am expecting more complex Questions including Sys design Because role is L3, but they won't ask such things because they purely come for L1 role in my Collage.
