Infosys HRs are bunch of liars. I got call from infosys hr that i can get job location as Gurgoan. I clearly told her that if gurgoan is not possible , i will not come for interview. She said ok and i went for it.
At center, after technical round, the hr at center told me that gurgoan is not possible. Then why the hell, hr over the phone confirmed that gurgoan is still there?
And i got regret letter because hr lied. This shows their attitude and incompetence.
What was my fault in all this? Infy doesn't have sync between their teams so candidate has to suffer.
Truly unproffessional and unethical.
Below are the salary they offer
For < 3 years, 4.8 lpa
For > 3 and < 4 years, max 6 lpa
The above salary is non negotiable and if you ask more regret letter will come no matter how well you performed.
So, decide carefully before investing your time

It’s goes well. Waiting for the update so hoping for good thing. Other than that everything good I felt. First round is Technical and followed by the manager round which is also quite good experience

L3 interview:
Pretty inefficient process, with certain people having to wait 6+ hours, and I heard of one person who waited an entire day and had to come again the next day.
Interview itself was relatively standard,
stage 1: Asking leetcode mediums and expecting optimal solution, then moving to core cs concepts like oops and sql.
stage 2: Diving into projects, with questions on the tougher side, like specifics about the architecture of docker.

The interview was related to general software engineering questions. Design patters, unit and e2e testing, deplyment to cloud, frontend to backend comunication, team collaboration, requirements shaping, release process. The interview was conducted in a friendly manner.
