I applied through college or university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Infosys (Mysore) in Mar 2010
Interview
There were 2 rounds.
1. Written exam consisting of Maths and English sections.
2. Personal Interview consisting of technical questions, behavioral questions and HR related questions.
First round is the tough one. There will be a limited time to solve mathematical problems. You need to manage your time accordingly. The English section was even tougher.
Second round was a bit easier where they asked basic Computer concepts like topics from computer architecture, OOPs concepts, etc. And then they asked general behavioral questions.

Interview
Following the assessment test, got shortlisted for the interview phase. The session itself was very smooth; the interviewer created a supportive and comfortable environment right from the beginning. The conversation centered around my project, where I had the opportunity to detail its technical aspects, architectural choices, and the underlying motivation for building it.
Multiple rounds including face to face and aptitude depending on the role type and resume and project related questions were asked with focus on technical concepts including data structures and algorithms
