International Rescue Committee interview questions

The whole process lasted a month. About a week after applying, I was invited to an interview with HR. Another week after the HR meeting, I was asked to complete a writing exercise. Five days after that, I was invited to a second interview with hiring manager. I never heard back after completing the second interview.

I let the recruiter know I was on a timeline and she was kind enough to speed up the process and went through several rounds of interviews and submitted 5 references all within 2 weeks. When I asked for a decision, I was told they won't have a decision anytime soon which caught me by surprise considering they sped up the process quickly and made it seem like I would hear back at the end of the week. The interviews were average, standard questions. Bummer, considering I was really passionate about working for the IRC.
