International Rescue Committee interview questions

Interview is straightforward, meet the recruiter who reviewed my profile, I met the hiring manager and later the panel who were comprised of person with expertise related to the role

First met with recruiter, then with director and a staff member who seemed uninterested in the interview itself. Made me wait over 3 months, asked me for 5 references (which is extreme and even my UN job only asked for 3). Kept emailing me saying we're still interested and thanking me for my patience then sent me a saying the classic we went with another candidate.
