I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at J.P. Morgan in Sep 2016
Interview
One afternoon - 3 back-to-back 20 minutes interview; 1 company presentation in the early morning to get everyone familiarized with the people - not very helpful though since all the materials are similar across all banks
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at J.P. Morgan (Buenos Aires) in Feb 2018
Interview
I applied to a job from Linkedin profile, then weeks later I was contacted by one HR representative, these are the type of interviews that I had. Phone Interview, in-office interview, then another interview with managers and senior managers. Very responsible and professional environment
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Why should we choose you over the other candidates, what do you know about J.P.Morgan, How do you see yourself in 5 years from now.
I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at J.P. Morgan (Londres, Inglaterra) in Jul 2017
Interview
I uploaded my CV and an article of mine to submit my application. Then the firm contacted me and arranged the first interview, with the hiring manager. The interviews are only 9-5 which is not practical if you work at the same time. I ended up having 3 interviews with the hiring managers and finally a phone interview with the HR. The interviews with the managers were very positive, very friendly, an experience I didn't expect. They described the role and what they expected from me and really understood my CV and the choices I made in my career. They really convinced me I want to work with and for them. The interview with the HR was a joke, asking me why i want to leave my previous job after 3 interviews with them and a bunch of other irrelevant questions only trying to get my salary down. It was a disgrace for the whole process and the effort of the hiring managers.
