The process took 1 day. I interviewed at J.P. Morgan in Apr 2010
Interview
The interviews I have been through at Chase are very standard....tell me about a time when... what makes you want to... if you are good at interviewing in a standard way then you will be fine. All interviews i ahve been in seem more like a physical sizing you up as they try to rush the interview along and get irritated when you go into detail. If you get the interview, the job is yours to lose by your appearance and mannerisms by and large. It doesnt hurt to know about chases background and drop that and some story about how much you want to work for the "number 1" bank in the us regardless of truth in feeling or fact.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
All questions were standard. No you are walking through a desert and see a turtle lying on it's back type riddles.
Easy chat, not much technical questions. More competency questions. The desk emailed me directly for the interview. No HR involved. Got the interview relatively quick after I applied, but they took ages to reply
Spoke to the line manager and his boss (the managing director). Interviewers were very friendly and process was smooth. No interviews with the human resources team. Interviews were done via zoom and took about 45 min each.
