      Application

I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at JLR (Coventry, Inglaterra) in Dec 2015

      Interview

Assessment Centre: Introduction to the assessment centre Group Task where you are split into groups of around 8 people and asked to choose from potential suppliers by comparing their quotes and ratings. Work together to come to a conclusion and listen to other opinions in the group. You are given 30 minutes to prepare for a presentation of a given subject, i.e. personal project. I chose my uni dissertation as it was related to the stages of product development. I took the assessor through each of these stages from ideation to development, feasibility, cost, manufacture and production. Questions were asked at the end relating to how I costed it up, how I gained feedback etc. 30 minute interview based on competency questions

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at JLR (Leamington, England) in Mar 2017

      Interview

The application process was an online application (CV, cover letter), situational judgement test, further online tests (verbal, numerical and logical reasoning) and finally an assessment centre. The assessment centre consisted of the following exercises: 1. Behavioural interview - based on JLR's High Performance Behaviours Framework. 2. Technical presentation and interview - based on a project you did previously. 3. Group exercise - which tests your teamwork and communication skills. Have some examples ready when you're asked to demonstrate the High Performance Behaviours, and practise presenting a technical project. Other than that, be confident in your own abilities as they are looking to help you succeed rather than catch you out. Prepare, prepare, prepare!
