I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at JPMorganChase (Delaware City, DE) in Sep 2024
Interview
The interview process consisted of multiple technical rounds focused on Java and React development. It included live coding exercises where I was asked to write Java programs and solve data structures and algorithms problems. They also evaluated my cloud experience, particularly AWS, along with questions on Spring Boot, backend design, and real-world development scenarios. It was challenging but comprehensive.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
One of the main things they asked me was to write a Java coding solution using data structures and algorithms concepts. They focused on problem-solving ability, clean code structure, and time complexity analysis. They also asked follow-up questions about how I would optimize the solution and how it would scale in a cloud-based environment using AWS and Spring Boot.
Asked very scripted questions and everyone took a lot of notes. I really enjoyed the people I spoke with and they really made me think about the role and my past

Question 1
How could you see your past experience supporting you in this role as AI uses proliferate.
Was given a leetcode problem within the first 4 mins of the interviewer. Wish I was making this up. Interviewers did not really introduce themselves besides names, straight to the code problem. The interview felt extremely cold. No soul, no passion, no discussion
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at JPMorganChase (Jersey City, NJ)

Second Round - Online Assessment
Third Round Superday - Behavioral, Coding Challenge, System Design
