I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at JPMorganChase (Dublín, Dublín) in Jun 2024
Interview
I was very impressed by the overall experience. From the initial contact to the final follow-up, the process was well-organised, respectful, and transparent. On the day of the interview, I was welcomed warmly, and the atmosphere was relaxed yet professional. The interviewer(s) were approachable, asked thoughtful questions, and took the time to explain more about the company culture and expectations for the role.

Question 1
Can you tell us about a time you worked under pressure and how you handled it?
For HireVue, the question I was asked were:
- Why JPM?
- Tell me about the time you had a knowledge gap.
- How would you assess the feasibility and risks of synergy assumptions in a client’s acquisition model and what guidance would you offer the CEO?
- How would you approach advising a public company on determining a sale price, considering various factors and methodologies that could influence your decision?

The JPMC interview process began with an online coding round testing data structures and algorithms, followed by a HireVue video interview. The HireVue round included behavioral and situational questions, such as explaining technical topics to non-technical people, to assess communication, problem-solving, and cultural fit. Final selections were made based on overall performance.
