I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Kaiser Permanente (Los Angeles, CA) in Jul 2015
Interview
Straight forward and simple interview. They told you about the company and the background information of the position. Then they asked you how you would fit into this position. Overall, just wanted to see your personality.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Kaiser Permanente
Interview
I applied online and received a call within a week. I had a phone screening with a recruiter first, then received call from a manager for an interview. I had a panel interview, set questions were asked (standard interview questions), and a lot of scenarios were given. It was a good opportunity to meet other staff and get a sense of the working culture. I was asked to provide references after the interview and reference were called within a week. There is an extensive background check after receiving and accepting a job offer. I was advised to double check my employment dates and salary, applicants will be automatically disqualified if employment dates are incorrect. Background check agency may ask for copies of W-2s. I assume they ask when they are unable to reach former employers. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I'm excited to be joining the agency.

I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Kaiser Permanente (San Jose, CA) in Jun 2015
Interview
Recruiter called, did phone screen, then emailed computer medication assessment, then next was phone interview, then scheduled for 1:1 interview with a nurse manager. Was promised to hear back in 3 days- it's been 10 and nothing. I left message and email for recruiter, no response. So guess I didn't get it but really thought I had! Also regardless, would've great to at least receive response of no so I could process it and move on! Very disappointed at the lack of communication! It was a great experience until after the interview and now it's just like wow, really? So unprofessional! I don't want to apply for any other kaiser jobs it's just left such a bad taste in my mouth.
