I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Kaiser Permanente (Portland, OR) in Jun 2011
Interview
5 years ago when I was interviewed it was very low key and relaxed. I had to pass an easy skills test and test my knowledge of different areas. We touched base on my credentials. (If you are hired without the credentials they need they will let you achieve them at a later date) I let the interviewer know what I could bring to Kaiser and they let me know what they could do for me.

Question 1
Past experience, credentials, why I wanted to work at Kaiser....how long I was a dental assistant prior to applying to Kaiser, why I left my last employer.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Kaiser Permanente (Atlanta, GA) in Aug 2013
Interview
It was a behavioral interview which in my opinion show nothing of your work history or skills. Most of the questions were simple and answers could have been made up on the spot.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Kaiser Permanente (Harbor City, CA) in Dec 2014
Interview
many weeks phone contact with HR for documentation, arranging exams, verifying vaccinations and licensure. many errands for tests, paperwork, background check.
then 1 group interview, offer immediately, starting a month later
interview itself: waited 10 minutes for staff to gather. ushered into conference room. asked questions from hand-out.
did not follow up with thank you. felt that interview went badly and did not expect offer.
overall experience: felt like managers were just going through motions with questions, and would hire based on their feelings about personality.
