I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Kaiser Permanente (Oakland, CA) in Sep 2013
Interview
Simple, quick and relaxing. Conducted in the hiring manager's office, with only two people conducted the interview, then presented offer the next day. It depends on who you interview with, I guess.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
what you have done, what's your strength, weakness, etc.
I applied online. I interviewed at Kaiser Permanente (Atlanta, GA) in Feb 2016
Interview
Applied online. First contact: Was sent an assessment test through an email. Called maybe 3 weeks later to come in for an interview. Met with a 3 person panel. The interview was about an hour. The facility was really nice, free parking. I sensed the job was entry level by hearing the responses to my questions on the job description (even though it had Masters required), so I asked a salary range. They didn't give me an answer. I thought the interview went well, but I could have come across as too experienced. I am trying to change from Consultant/Contract to full time in my field.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Kaiser Permanente (Los Angeles, CA) in Jun 2014
Interview
Interview was very formal and also included a 2 hour exam-type exercise that I then presented to a group of my potential colleagues. The interviewers were very nice, but asked the hard questions. Definitely come prepared to answer those standard interview questions. They also cared a lot about how I interacted and related to the rest of the team, which I'm glad they value.
