I applied online. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at Kroger (Mooresville, IN) in Aug 2015
Interview
Quick, lots of paperwork, oral drug test, background check. If they feel you are 'overqualified' they will push for higher pay. I was going to start out at $7.25 and hour but got $7.65 an hour instead.

The applications are confusing but once it was done everything was pretty easy and the interview went over really easily. They didn't ask for anything complicated or ask any questions that I wasn't sure how to answer.

What do you like to you in your free time?
What was your past work experience like?
I applied in-person. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at Kroger (Memphis, TN) in Jun 2011
Interview
The interview process was fairly quick. I was 15 at the time of my interview so the first portion focused on school, how well I was doing and if I would be able to maintain my grades while working. The other half of the interview focused on situations that might arise in the work place and what I would do to handle them. After the interview, they set up a time for me to come back and complete the drug testing
