I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Kroger (Warner Robins, GA) in Feb 2011
Interview
On the day of my interview, I was given a drug test. Provided that I passed the drug test, I was interviewed about my future plans as a college student and my work experience. I was also asked about my availability and other general work field questions. It took about a week to get the results from my drug test back but afterwards I was allowed to begin my training on the computers. The training took about two days, 4 hours each. I immediately began working afterward.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Kroger (Dalton, GA) in Jul 2012
Interview
Applied online a month ago and they called out of the blue. I was asked if I was planning on going back to college in the fall and that they would check with so and so to see if they could find a place for me. They called back a few hours later and told me to come in for an interview in a few days. I appreciated the 72 hour notice because it will let me get my medication info to them before the saliva test.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Interview tends to be rushed. I don't expect them to ask nonessential questions.
The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Kroger (North Metro, GA) in Nov 2008
Interview
Just asked basic questions and took saliva drug test immediately after in the office. Pay is very low and they may offer you a higher pay to get you in the door but then will lower the pay rate after hiring you. Be careful that you know exactly what you are getting paid.
