I applied through other source. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Kroger (Atlanta, GA)
Interview
Process was confused me. I was asked over 5 times in the begining by 5 different people whether or not I had a college degree. My answer was yes and never changed...never. They then took the opportunity to remind me that you needed a college degree or had to have been a previous department manager in order to be considered for the position. Again folks...I have a college degree. I make it through the interview process and accept the job offer only to get into a training class with 23 other people. Of these 23 people, there were only 3 college degrees and 2 prior department managers. That should have been a sign...but unfortunately, I ignored it.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
None...the two current unit (store) managers that interviewed me pretty much read from a script the entire time. Again....that should have been a sign...but unfortunately, I ignored it.
The hardest part is getting the interview, its all in the application. If its filled in right and you get the interview, you most likely got the job. The only question I was asked is "Tell me about yourself". After that is was a mouth swab and orientation the next day.
