I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Kroger (Atlanta, GA) in Jan 2022
Interview
The interview process was extremely straightforward. They asked about my availability and if I had performed similar work before. They were more concerned about my schedule and if I could work overnight. After the interview, I heard back in a few days.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Kroger (Nashville, TN) in Nov 2025
Interview
I received a message asking me to schedule an interview time and take an online assessment test. The interview questions the District HR Specialist asked weren't hard. He mainly wanted to know my thoughts on customer service, my availability, and why I was interested in working at Kroger. However, at the end, I was asked for my date of birth, and then, as he walked me out, I was again asked whether I could handle the physical aspects of the job. He lost my interest with the DOB question. If he hadn't, I would have told him that the odd jobs I'd mentioned involved hard manual labor in the summer heat. He ended by telling me my information would be sent to the store manager for review. I would receive their decision by email or text.
