The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Lowe's Home Improvement (Epping, NH) in Feb 2011
Interview
I responded to an on line ad for seasonal openings. Applied for three positions and did the on-line assessment. 85 questions! You would have thought the position was with the CIA. It's really just putting grills together. I got a phone interview in a couple of days, mostly about my retail experience or lack of it. An interview was scheduled at the store. Recieved an email the day before the interview that one of the positions was already gone. I showed up and waited a few minutes for the HR manager. She really didn't ask a lot of questions, just told me about the position. She was distracted by a phone call and she searched the place for some file she needed. She complained about the young kids who take the position and then call in sick when ever the sun comes out. For that kind of money, I can see why.

Interview
Filled out application got a call 2 days later. went in for interview and bombed the interview. they asked me questions i was no where near ready for. It was my 1st interview ever so that could be the reason the questions were so hard to me. But then again some of the questions seemed kind of off the wall to me
