This one was a phone call after I had applied online for their Luxury Mountain Resort Internship. All of the locations required me to re-locate and as a freshman in college, as well as with COVID-19, I was not ready to do that.

The HR Head interviewed me first. They just asked me basic questions in my first language: My experience, School, How do I know Marriott, my schedule
Then they forward me to the Manager Assistant. They asked me basic question but this time in my second language.

Had one round of screening and another round of interview with the hiring manager & director. They were very friendly and were genuinely trying to get to know me. They answered all the questions I had and asked some scenario questions based on my resume experience as well.

STAR method, typical questions. Enjoyable- 1 with HR, 1 with future manager. Enjoyable, prep and know about the company, focus on your experiences and examples that prove you are open to learning and suit the specific role.
