Interview
Multi-step process (phone screen, two screens and an onsite).
Leadership and Drive interview was tough. Don't not prepare for this, it goes beyond the standard 'tell me when you've failed'. They want to see that you're able to understand core issues of why things happened the way they did.
Execution was also tough. They also ask many follow ups in execution. Set goals for X, now tell me what you would do if Y happened or how you would launch Z.
Product Sense: I thought I did well in this section, but it turns out this was my downfall. I had passed previous product sense screens with Facebook and figured it would be fine and that L&D would be my issue, but I was asked to design something for a specific group of people doing something specific and I didn't feel confident enumerating the major use-cases and problem areas, let alone the market dynamics/stakeholders involved. I actually left that interview thinking I did well, even though it was challenging but it wasn't a great interview and they are looking for great.
The interviewers themselves were all very warm and inviting. Don't overthink it and practice is my advice. Also, get a whiteboard and practice at home. And lastly, I have a framework that I use to answer most of these questions, but I try not to be rigid with it because trying to stick to a framework only I felt throws me off. It's mostly there to keep myself on track and if I feel stuck I can always come back to it as a guidepost.

Interview
I was referred for a job at Facebook by two employees. Almost immediately, I got an email from a recruiter asking for my resume. I sent it 20 minutes later and then didn’t hear back for 2 weeks. After checking in with them, I finally got connected to a scheduler. I know FB gets a ton of applicants, even ones who are referred, but this is where it started to feel like FB was inconsiderate of my time and unresponsive. The scheduler would ask me for some times over the next 1-2 weeks, I would provide them within a couple of hours, and then I wouldn’t hear back from the scheduler for sometimes 10 days. At which point, all the times I provided got filled up. This went on for 3-4 rounds before I finally stopped it.
