I interviewed at Morgan Stanley (Hong Kong) in Feb 2021
Interview
Few rounds of phone with the team members and HR, face to face with team head, head of thematic research and head of research. 30 min of stock pitch. Interview was intense and involving grilling but not very difficult. Need to know your CV, technicals as well as passion really well. Competition was really fierce. Since everyone who got in final round are capable of doing the work, I believe the ultimate hiring decision is based on 1) culture fit, 2) previous experience in ER or other ibanks. Another advice i can give is to be authentic and personal. Do not try to be the perfect candidate by memorizing all the answers.
