I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Morgan Stanley (New York, NY) in Jan 2010
Interview
Took a day. Consisted of various 1v1 interviews. The majority of the questions were behavioral. The interviewers were very personable and genuine, didn't really try to tick me just accurately asses my capabilities for the position.
Final AC, was split into 3 separate interviews 2 were questions around the core values and current market news and quick trade idea as well as a few brain teasers.
Start off with a HireVue, where theres 3 questions and you have ability to retake some of them. After comes a call, followed by rounds of interviews if you end up making it farther.
