The process started with an online application and HireVue interview with behavioral and basic market questions. Questions focused on my background, interest in markets, recent market news, a brain teaser, etc...
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Morgan Stanley in Nov 2015
Interview
For the first interview, MD firstly asks me to go through my resume, and then some typical questions such as why Sales & Trading? What's your greatest accomplishments? No technical part is asked for the first interview. For the second interview, my interviewer is an analyst. She gives me 5 mins to go through my resume and asks me to pitch her two stocks. Finally, she asks if there is any question I want to ask about her. I can't come up with an answer and feel I have screw up my interview.

Question 1
When most of your previous experience reflects entrepreneurship, why do you still choose Sales & Trading?
The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Morgan Stanley (Londres, Inglaterra)
Interview
It was good up until the AC and call i was given after the process. Very negative experience in AC with a power tripping interviewer - think old school Wall street dumb. Extremely rude and unprofessional individual - no idea why he is interviewing candidates. Was told wouldn't find out the outcome until several months later - likely as better candidates might come through, which is understandable, but they gave me a BS reason for the delay. Just be honest.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Morgan Stanley in Dec 2022
Interview
- Non-financial case study - 1 technical interview - 2 fit interviews They seem to separate MS interns from other candidates (do a separate AC for them). - They did not send rejection emails to all the candidates that did not get an offer
