I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Morgan Stanley (Baltimore, MD) in May 2013
Interview
I went in for a first round interview and was immediately followed up with an email inviting me back for a second interview the next week. The second interview was more questions I had for the financial group while the first interview was more about getting to know me and my previous experiences.

Question 1
I was told I passed two unexpected "tests" that the group had for interview candidates. The first test I passed was being on time, or 5 minutes early for the interview. The second test was having an extra resume on hand because one of the associates "forgot hers".
Simple, they were very welcoming and straightforward. I felt comfortable when I got there, but I could tell they wanted someone with more experience than me. It only lasted 30 minutes and they only really wanted to hear me talk about my experiences and asked one behavioral question.

Question 1
Describe a time you had a disagreement with a team member.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Morgan Stanley (Palo Alto, CA) in Dec 2025
Interview
Very straightforward. Told me more about the role. Was looking for someone to start in January, but I don't graduate until June. Said she'd pass my resume along nonetheless (don't think anything will come of it considering they are looking for someone to start ASAP).

Question 1
What are your greatest strengths? Why are you interested in this position?
Little to no situational questions asked. Very casual interview. Went over past experience and jobs listed on my resume. Phone screening, in-person with manager, and a second in-person with branch leader and manager.
