Communication was good, went from a light behavioral interview over phone, and then was contacted for an interview later that week. After that, had an interview with two associates, then a manager, and then another manager. Overall, interview took about 2 weeks.

There was a Hirevue before, where you are asked to answer in both English and Japanese
Asked about finance (accounting) and statistics (e.g. law of large numbers, bookkeeping basics)
Interviewers were very friendly, very keen to ensure the potential interns had real passion

Asked about "my most difficult challenge" that I wrote about in my entry sheet + questions specific to my CV
It took around 30 minutes, they had questions about cv, finance and excel knowledge, was online. Generally easy if you were prepared, fortunately there were no dumb HR questions like "which animal are you"
