I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Morgan Stanley (New York, NY) in Apr 2021
Interview
I Spoke with manager of the branch and then had three Zoom interviews. First with HR then with another manager, and then with two people in the office. Process took about three weeks.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Morgan Stanley (New York, NY) in Jun 2019
Interview
Referred by networking connection... I was under-qualified... Initial interview and they told me to take my SIE to move forward with process.. Passed SIE... Follow-up interview was with two people, one manager and another employee... The manager told me that the employee was having her performance review done simultaneously... Basically gave me the impression that they were not seriously considering me as a potential CSA and were looking to test out the employee's interviewing skills. I asked for feedback at the end of the interview and the employee under performance review told me to narrow down my career search.
Reflecting on this, they totally brought me not seriously considering me, but I was not at all qualified. Appreciated the entire process and treated the entire experience as a learning experience of the inner workings of high finance and how they take no BS.
I applied online. I interviewed at Morgan Stanley (Boston, MA)
Interview
They contacted me quickly, there was a phone interview then am in person interview with the hiring manager and then the complex manager and then a third interview with the FAs I would be supporting
