Interview
Preliminary in person 45 minute interview, followed by interview day which consisting of about 20 prospective interviewees. Interview day consisted of a team building activity, followed by four 45 minute interviews in a row. Followed this up with a professional fit phone call for 30 minutes a week later. After a few weeks, emailed for an update, Was asked to immediately come in for another 45 minute technical interview.

Interview
Applied through College Website.
1) On-Campus Interview for 30 min.
2) Called for onsite interview after 2 months in New York.
On-Campus Interview was a mix of behavioral, technical and resume based questions. The interviewer just want to make sure whether you are a right fit in the respective Morgan Stanley Department.
On-Site Interview consist of
Group exercise. The exercise was simple but some constraints were added to check the candidate's performance under pressure.
Then there was 3 1:1 Technical Interviews of 45 min each. All interviews were technical.
The interview was not difficult. You should have knowledge of what your are doing.That's all.

What Projects have you done? Describe any one? Specific questions on the project described.
Real-time Trading questions where main logic was required.
Hashmap questions. SQL queries ( joins and aggregate functions).
Coding questions which were average in difficulty.Finding the top 5 high frequency words in a file.
Operating System based questions.

Interview
1st Stage interview very technical. 2nd stage interviews are more broad testing not only technical skills but adding group exercises and personal interviews. Testing for OOP, data structure and algorithms, as well as software development process. Overall a fair assessment of skills.
