I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at MuleSoft in Jan 2020
Interview
The interview process took about 2 months. I got a 30 min phone screening, one-on-one interview, and lastly a panel interview. The panel interview consisted of a resume walkthrough, interview questions, and mock sales call with CIO of Adidas.

Question 1
Q: What would someone who doesn't like you have to say about you?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at MuleSoft (New York, NY) in Mar 2022
Interview
I applied to a general MBA internship posting in October (through an MBA conference) and was contacted in February to interview for a specific role.
There was 1 recruiter call, 1 interview with hiring manager, and 1 interview with the head of the team.
After making it to the final round, I unfortunately was not selected. However, I expressed interest in a different internship role and the recruiter facilitated the interview process for that one, which I ended up being selected for.
The process for the second role was similar, except I also had to present a 15 minute business case to a panel of directors.
Every interaction I had with the recruiters was professional and supportive. Before my final presentation, I was given the opportunity to have a coaching session with the hiring manager, which was extremely helpful.
Overall the interview process was as difficult as any other competitive MBA internship, but I felt like there was a supportive atmosphere and professional/transparent communication at every step.

Interview
The weirdest interview EVER ! I was already on final stages of another hiring process but my professional curiousity was stronger.
After all, this was Sales Force recruitment process and my curious self wanted to know what was like to be interviewed by representatives of this stellar company.
Drove to company and parked my car on a VERY expensive parking. This was just when pandemic was exploding everywhere but enterviews were still face to face.
This was already 4:30 pm or so. There was nobody at the reception but someone saw me outside and was kind enough to let me in.
I told him I was meant to meet Mr.X and he disssapeared. I stayed at the reception waiting for good 20 minutes before anyone
showed up and to be honest, I wish nobody had showned up indeed. What followed i can only classify as emotional abuse and massive waste of anyone's time ( believe me I am not one to use this kind of words lightly since I do believe that all in life happens for a purpose ... not in this case ).
This guy dressed in jeans and worned out snickers present himself as the head of CSM for APAC. He then conduced me to a small room when he asks me a VERY generic question which straight away showed me that he had not even gotten the courtesy to read my resume.
I introduced myself and started talking about my professional life. When i finished this very sad and angry person says "- do you always use this body language ?"
Like, what ????? I did not even know what to say. After all this was an interview and I thought that it could be perhaps a trick situation and he was testing me but no.. this "manager" proceeded to destroy me as a person while highlighting how wrong my "-body language" was.
I was in shock. I did not know what to say. My guts were screaming " - get out ... thank him for his time and run away " but the situation caught me totally off guard.
His face, everything coming out of his mouth was pure abuse. It was like my face somehow brough the worst in him. Note that i had been working for over a decaded for one of the biggest Tech companies in the planet and I knew my worth. It was when I decided to keep quite as it seemed he decided unleashed his frustrations on me. I then asked him "but how a person so bad in your eyes can work in a critical role as I did for such a big company ?" His answer " - this company is just not good !!"... Then I realized he was on a mission to destroy my self worth. I shut up and I let that insane person say whatever made him feel better. I was in shock and struggling to keep myself together. When he finished I said thanked him and I left.
In the following day the recruiter ( Sales force ) contacted me and my first question was " is this hiring manager a psycology or psycatrist ? She confirmed that the guy was only an IT person.
I would not ever interview for MUle soft as I left convinced this is a place where people like this guy reign free. If he does this to a person who he had never seen in his life, imagine what he does to people working for him. Life is short and our professional lives do not need to be painful. A day later I accepted one of the two offers which were kindly offered to me through real hiring processes and managers who only respected and valued me as a professional.
