I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Munich Re in Jan 2022
Interview
First I had an interview with HR and a project manager. They asked about past experience and why I wanted to join them. Generally there was an aggressive tone from one of the interviewers.
The second interview was an online test with a PM.
They forgot that we had the interview so they connected after 20 minutes and they tried to find a suitable test for the role for another ten minutes.
As a result I didn’t have enough time on my one to think before answering the questions because they asked me to answer orally.
Finally although I answered all the questions with a 80% correct, they never showed up again, I asked for feedback but they didn’t respond.
Worst experience ever.

Interview
First get to know each other interview. Then a technical interview with the hiring manager, then an interview with HR and an executive. It all went smoothly and the offer was made very quickly.

Question 1
I was asked to review a code in Python, describe what it does, and how to make it more efficient. I was also asked about the complexity in terms of space and time.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Munich Re (Toronto, ON) in Apr 2022
Interview
I applied online and received an invite from a recruiter at Munich Re (Toronto) for a 30-minute screening video call. The interviewer seemed very nice and patient during the call, even when I blanked on a question. The next step following this video call is a panel round interview with the Munich Re team.
Over a week later, I received an email from the recruiter at Munich Re inviting me to the panel round interview and asking about my upcoming availability. I replied to this email within a few hours, receiving no response ever again. This would have been a positive interview process, even if I did not receive a job offer with Munich Re. However, the recruiter never responded to me again, nearly a month after an invitation to a panel round interview (which did not happen). A week later, I sent a follow-up email about this second interview and did not get a response to that either or a rejection email of any sort.
I am really disappointed in this company for not having the courtesy to update candidates about the status of the position. It is also unproductive for everyone involved to extend interview invitations that will not be conducted.
