I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at NHS (Newcastle, England) in Sep 2021
Interview
The north East England NHS recruitment was in gosforth. First there was an employment ID checks, then literacy and numeracy assessment and then there was the interview. I was asked around 10 questions.
Much less intimidating than I thought, very humane and they made me feel at ease. I felt well supported throughout and never felt like they were trying to catch me out. The conversation flowed easily and they gave me plenty of time so I didn’t feel rushed.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked about how I would handle a confidentiality situation.
two interviewers on site the board director and manager
three parts practical interview- showing how to work in clinical setting and a follow up feedback from manager
asked quite difficult questions so be cautious and communicate well
Not a bad experience. It was smooth as questions asked were something I had prepared for, so it was a smooth process for me. The interviewers were also very friendly and make the experience good too
