Feedback said I should have contacted to know more about the specifics. However when I did this prior interview I either didn't get responsed or didn't get much information and was told to refer to the job description.

it was okay, they typically ask about your certificates and experiences. then they go on to ask about your expectations and why you chose to apply to that specific location
