I got a mail from the company for the position of Training Associate (HR). Their demand was a full-time MBA with HR specialization. They took three rounds. First was just screening interview, second was written aptitude test which I found tough and last one was final interview. I cleared all the rounds and was called after 2 days for casual interview with 2 more people as I was supposed to work with them. They told me about my work, compensation, working environment and the rift between north and south Indian. They were very frank in explaining all these. I thought I am selected now as they were asking me about my document submission. They already explained my work and told me to be happy as you have got the job. What happened next is they telephoned me next day and told VP would like to have a talk with you. They also suggested me to lie my home state as the VP was a Tamil and I was from Bihar. Anyhow I got ready as this was my first job and I already told everybody that I got a job. She called me and we had a conversation for about 7 minutes and she rejected me saying she has local accent in her communication. I really don't know what exactly went wrong because for me that was a good interview and I was happy before knowing the final results.
