I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Oracle (Bengaluru) in Mar 2022
Interview
The process started with the tech recruiter contacting over the phone and setting up a preliminary assessment round.
If you clear this round, the HR will call you and set up 4 more rounds (3 technical + 1 Hiring Manager)
1) round 1 - Interviewer was a principal engineer, very friendly and supportive
2) round 2 - Interviewer started mocking and laughing at me from the very beginning, as if trying to prove that I dont know anything, instead of trying to have a healthy conversation
3) round 3 - This interviewer was even more condescending than the one before, with similar laughing and mocking through the entire interview. Even worse was that, he was not even letting me finish an answer and without hearing the full answer, he would start telling me I dont know anything. Worst interview ever in my life. The interviewer acted as if he is the one who knows everything and he has no time to take the interview.
4) round 4 (Hiring Manager) - Interviewer was patient and described the entire product and the tech stack associated with it. Expect some behavioral questions that will be hidden in the conversation.
