I applied online. I interviewed at Oracle (Bengaluru) in Dec 2020
Interview
It was first round with hiring Manager. Not sure what exactly hiring managers are looking during course of interview a set of matching words which they have already like
Set<ManagerBuzzWords> managerSet;
managerSet.contains(CandidateBuzzWord) ? next : go deeper in same topic. My request is kindly focus on what Candidate has worked on and what your project is all about. There are hell lot of in depth knowledge in each topic in core java only which you might not be knowing off. Don't try to show off to reduce the brand value of Oracle.

How SSL works interesting ? How many of us cares about it. Let's remove the google.com from org then give a shot probably you will have answer. Please be precise about your question so that candidate can answer to the point otherwise there is no limit wage words and generic approach. but when candidate gives generic answer you are looking for buzzword matching pattern and to the point answer.

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Oracle (Los Angeles, CA) in Sep 2020
Interview
Direct on-site without a phone screen. They had a recruitment event going on with multiple candidates and decided to do an on-site with 5 rounds. Overall process was ok. Recruiter was friendly and prompt with the result.
One thing to note is the interviewers were some of the rudest ones I have ever experienced. They laughed when I made a small mistake with one of the programming exercises. Overall behavior of the interviewers was extremely rude. This was for the Oracle Cloud Security team. I know Oracle is a big company but with this kind of an attitude it reflects the kind of peers I would've had and that's not the way people want to be treated. I will never interview with Oracle again.
