Applied online. invited for interview. turned up where I was told to go, person behind the till had no clue I was coming, after some back and forth they gave me a number to call. went outside and called, interviewer was round the corner. taken to a room to interview, tried some small talk/chat but ignored. 2 interviewers with a booklet of questions in front of them, they proceeded to ask the questions on the forms, I answered and they wrote, then one of them would score me on the form fully visible, if I got a low score he would cover the paper. bare In mine I was sat on the other side of a normal table, wasn't wearing my glasses and could fully see his notes. there was no back and forth conversation, just question and answer. at the end they asked if I had anything else to add, I asked to show some displays and chalk boards id done for advertising past shops, it was so uncomfortable, they did not care and I just had to leave. tried to make conversation again but no interest. overall really uncomfortable and awkward. I then received an email 2 weeks later saying they've cancelled the hiring process for the role as they no longer need anyone
