I applied in-person. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at PepsiCo (Danville, VA) in May 2011
Interview
This interview had to be one of the most easiest interviews i've ever had to face. A large majority of these questions are basically common knowledge. With my interview it was just the basic questions on how you would handle a particular situation and etc.

Question 1
If you seen one of your fellow co-workers drinking a soft drink from the truck. How would you handle the situation?
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at PepsiCo (Sacramento, CA)
Interview
I was fortunate to have known someone who has a brother who works for Pepsi but at a different location. I was able to get information about what the work was like and applied online.
After applying, I waited several weeks before they called me and did some minor phone interview and then asked me to pick a date for the in person interview.
Walking into the Plant in Sacramento, employees there didn't really greet you as much. During the course of the interview, I was interviewed by 2 delivery supervisors (not standard procedure but the merchandiser manager wasn't available). Unlike some of the other careers, there is no need to wear a suit and tie or formal business attire. However, some plants may operate differently depending on the position so I would contact HR if in doubt. The HR dept. for this plant is pretty professional.
After the interview, you will be waiting awhile. Someone will call you from HR and ask if you are still interested, what the pay rate is, etc. If you say yes, they schedule you for a drug test and physical strength test. They will also send you forms via online to fill out for background checks and verify your identity. During this period you will receive a contingency offer via letter.
