I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at PepsiCo (Twinsburg, OH) in Apr 2015
Interview
Phone screen interview with Pepsico recruiter followed up by phone interview with the hiring manager followed up by in-person interview.. The whole process took about one month. The in-person interview was a 2-person tag team consisting of hiring manager and another manager sitting behind a desk in a little office. The interview started out warm and fuzzy about how I was one of the final candidates and should be proud. Then, the mood quickly changed and the panel of 2 people started firing behavioral interview questions at me for an hour. The hiring manager asked most of the questions and the other manager sat there like a Sphinx and only asked a couple questions. After the personal interview, a person at Pepsico was scheduled to phone interview me the following afternoon at 12 noon EST. I waited for 90 minutes or until 1:30 PM EST for this person to call me but he/she never called. Finally, at 1:30pm EST (90 minutes late!!!) I received a call from a PepsiCo recruiting person stating that the PepsiCo person that was supposed to call me 90 minutes earlier would not be participating in the interview process going forward. To date, I have never received an apology phone call from the PepsiCo staff that interviewed me and wasted my time for a month. My impression of PepsiCo staff is that they are quite rude and unprofessional which is why I removed myself from Pepsi's interview process and got a better job at a better company.
