I applied online. I interviewed at Power Home Remodeling
Interview
I was supposed to go in for the first interview, but the interviewer ended up combining the first and second interview so I was there for awhile (at least a few hours). The interviewer was really nice and we had a good conversation. He explained how everyone that works for this company starts from the ground and them moves their way up. This means literally door to door sales until you graduate into doing sales at store locations like BJS. Not at all what I was interested in doing. It was all men in the office and clearly a job that did not match me at all. If you don't mind long days with endless door-to-door interactions, this is the job for you. As someone with a college degree, I just don't think this job would even be an adequate entry level job.

Do you see yourself is sales?
Can you commit a year to doing sales with us?
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Power Home Remodeling (Chester, PA) in Jun 2016
Interview
The initial interview lasted for about 30 minutes. The interviewer was polite and professional and really wanted to get an idea about my previous occupation and my work style during my time there. I feel like I succeeded in turning the interview into a general conversation between myself and the marketing director. I did not get a great opportunity to ask all the pertinent questions that I wanted to, but I certainly will make sure that occurs when I have my second interview. Be professional/polite and do your research on the company and make sure you emphasize what attracted you about the opening.

The interview process was rather short but to the point. They want to know if you are easy to talk to and trainable, beyond that the process is rather smooth and seamless into employment.
