Interview
To be honest I didn’t get very far. I had an initial short call and then a follow-up call with the same recruiter. He was nice enough but it all sounded to good to be true, which I mentioned to him. He was really focused on how great it was to work there and look at their reviews on all these different sites. He was constantly asking questions just to get a yes from me. I felt like I was being sold to every step of the way. Like I said it sounded to good to be true so I dove deeper into the reviews from employees and customers alike. I am not a high pressure sales guy. I close in my current role around 50% and I don’t make customers buy the same day or stay in their homes until the sale is made. Reading review after review from customers tells me that’s exactly what this company does. Not that it’s a bad thing, it’s just how they do business and it’s not for me. Also, knocking on doors to drum up business in 100* weather for a couple weeks before I get to do any in-home selling sounded terrible. There are plenty of fantastic reviews out there from both customers and employees. But they almost all sound scripted and with the way my initial interviewer stuck to a script to get me to say yes a couple dozen times in our phone calls made me end the process. Not for me but it could be for you, and it sounds like the money can be really good.

Question 1
Basic interview questions. I got the feeling they burn through a lot of candidates. If you’re an aggressive sales person that can bs your way through objections this job is for you.
