3 Interviews getting you to talk about how outgoing, and basically how persistent you can be. They want people to get their foot in the door and not move it.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Power Home Remodeling (Houston, TX) in Mar 2020
Interview
The interviewer was over Customer Development and very good looking so made it a little distracting. He printed out my resume and went over it. The interview process consisted of one in person interview, and one over zoom interview before I was given an offer.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
He described what a worse case day would look like to see if I would be scared off by that and quit
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Power Home Remodeling (Chester, PA) in Jun 2021
Interview
A pleasant initial phone screen with a recruiter was followed by another pleasant online interview with a marketing VP. Both emphasized how great of a place Power is for millennials. As a solid GenXer, red flags arose. The second interviewer played an MTV-ish video featuring many young, well-dressed, attractive, smiling employees at the corporate office. I didn't see anyone older than 40. Both interviews went well, but I received a rejection email three days following the second interview. Practical advice: If you are over 40, don't bother applying...no matter how well your skills and experience align with the job description.
