I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Power Home Remodeling in Jul 2020
Interview
Lol very good at selling themselves but the more specifics you ask quickly becomes sketch.
Read the reviews on indeed they're pretty straight forward. They sound very professional and are good at spinning the quality of the job and fluff up how good their reviews are and how big and fast they are growing.
Everyone starts at the same level -totally okay with that. But they make it sound like it's a wonderful position- doing outbound customer development, outreach, and procurement (ie selling door to door and in front of Sams Clubs)
I heard the Sam's Club deal and told the recruiter, not sure if I'm 100% onboard with the outside sales aspect but wouldn't totally mind if I can move into a different position if I quickly hit my numbers.
The response was '......I'm just really confused. Okay. Thank you for your time.' and promptly hung up.
I applied online. I interviewed at Power Home Remodeling
Interview
Spoke with internal recruiter. than spoke with director of marketing. than spoke with Regional VP of marketing. The first interview was on the phone and than the 2nd and 3rd were on site. I had a great experience and ended up accepting the job shortly after.
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Power Home Remodeling (Houston, TX) in May 2020
Interview
aka Remodeling Consultant. I had 3 interviews. The first interview was an initial screening call by the talent acquisition team (he was friendly, candid, and responsive). The second interview was a zoom video call. The interviewer was 20 minutes late (The interviewer seemed sharp and a chill). The talent acquisition rep gave me the following feedback: "Great job on your interview. [He] loved you. He wants to take the next steps...". The third interview was another zoom video call, that was rescheduled on me (the interviewer seemed a bit supercilious and inattentive). He mentioned several times that normally he would offer me the position on the spot but due to COVID procedures had changed. At the end of the interview, I was told I would be contacted within a couple of days. It has been over 6 weeks... The whole interview process seemed disorganized. The culture at Power is captivating however overall the pay structure and job function were not what I am looking for.
