I applied online. I interviewed at Power Home Remodeling (Chester, PA)
Interview
I applied to this position and was called right away for a screening. We set up an in person interview within a few days. The interview itself was long - about 2 hours, though at least 1 hour was selling me on the company (no worries there except that it's a little tiring to do that for an hour before you begin discussing the position). The interview with the Director of Agile was really great overall. I felt that the questions were relevant and my responses were able to give a feel of my leadership style and knowledge of Scrum. I thought it was an interesting approach that the interviewed wanted to answer his own questions. At times it felt like he wanted to hear himself talk but it also gave me insight into his own leadership style and whether it would be a good fit for me. I left feeling like I would want to take the next step and get a better feel for the role and work environment which was spending a day with the team. This would've given me the opportunity to assess if the job was what I was looking. Unfortunately, even though I followed up with both the interviewer and HR (twice, in fact), I never heard back. This was enough to turn me off especially after being fed how "people-centric"the company is and their initiatives to hire more women (which I was told would not be hired for leadership positions because they had to work their way up in rank - take that how you want). They asked for feedback on Glassdoor and I'm glad I waited to write it.

Question 1
Is your leadership style bureaucratic, democratic, laissez-faire, or charismatic?
The interview process was fast and informative. They got back to me the next day after applying and I was in the interview room the same week. The interviewer remained friendly throughout the interview although I could already tell he had another candidate in mind.

Interview
I received a call from someone and it ended up being a brief phone interview, which I believe went well. He said I should hear something within in 48hrs if they're interested. It seems like a great place to work.
