I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Power Home Remodeling (Chester, PA) in Feb 2019
Interview
3 words describe my interview process - Efficient, Transparent & Personable.
Efficient in that no time was wasted scheduling the various stages of the process. From the phone interview to the onsite/in-person face-to-face, all was scheduled in a timely manner. Internal decisions were made quickly, allowing the interview process to advance expeditiously.
The full day onsite shadowing was welcoming in that it allowed me to experience life at Power. The curtain was pulled back for a full transparent view of the role.
As for personable, I was quite honored to know that part of the hiring process, even for non-leadership roles, was to meet with the company's CIO. The meeting never felt like an interview. It was more of "let me get to know you session". I can't say many company's go to this extreme to screen their candidates. Power is a unicorn and I'm proud to be part of the family!
