Principal Financial Group Software Engineer I interview questions

Process took a month and a half. First round pre-recorded responses, then a department interview 2 weeks later. Asked about my background and behavioral questions. Followed by a pair-programming exercise. No response from the recruiter throughout the process so it was a blind process on my end.

Job posted with a wide salary range, but will not pay above the midline. Posted at 80-180 then told me they're not paying above 90. I live in MCOL and it's growing rapidly.
